Songwriters Christa McNamee and Dan Bar Hava first joined forces in November of 1999, putting together a stylish progressive pop sound featuring well crafted songs with changing, fluid melody lines and strong lyrics—a cool vibe demonstrated by two of the pair's finest numbers, Bring Me Back and Love and Loving You (give them a listen below).
The early collaborations evolved into an seven-piece band, RIPE, with Christa (center in photo at left) on lead vocals supplemented by two sweet but sultry back-up singers, Leia Thompson and Jessica Grant, plus Dan on keyboards joined by guitarist, Seth Himmelhoch, bassist Dave Keen, and drummer Rich Zukor.
